In nearby Chicago, we have a pretty famous art museum: the Art Institute of Chicago. Perhaps you’ve seen Ferris Bueller spend an afternoon there.
New York also has some very impressive art museums. And one of them just partnered up with Volkswagen.
According to a Volkswagen press release, Volkswagen and the Museum of Modern Art have teamed up to expand art education.
The two groups announced an extended two-year partnership that will support the museum’s education initiatives and exhibits.
Volkswagen has supported the Museum of Modern Art since 2011. The extended partnership will focus on the MoMA Education program. The program aims to enrich artistic understanding through digital learning initiatives.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, the Chairman of the Board of Management for Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, was honored for by the Museum of Modern Art for his commitment to art education and expansion.
Throughout its activities in the fields of arts and culture, Volkswagen has shared this belief, and we highly appreciate Dr. Winterkorn’s active role in fulfilling this corporate commitment“, said Glenn D. Lowry, Director of the Museum of Modern Art, in the press release.
